Things get worse before they get better

In one week I’ll be jetting off to Toronto and New York. Outside of going to Portland in May, I haven’t really been anywhere since Edmonton last October. Even that Portland trip was just 5 days, not even enough to use any of my work-allocated vacation days.

Sleepless early mornings

I used have problems with a patch of wakefulness every morning.  It was from about 3:30-5:00am.  For months I would watch my old roommate walk past my window as he left for work as a bread delivery man in the early hours of the day.

Busy bee

My last week has been unbelievably busy and the week ahead only seems worse.  It’s my own fault.  I blame the word, “Yes”.

I want to give up.
